In order for young adults to meet the challenges of the changing world of work, they need holistic competences that help them to be innovative and creative, as well as to solve problems systematically. These competences, described in more detail in frameworks such as Entrecomp11, DigiComp.12 are generally grouped under “21st Century Skills”.

Complex learning scenarios are beneficial for promoting these holistic approaches. In concrete terms, this means that learners learn through complex, real-life projects that offer a certain openness in terms of implementation and outcome. In this context, the possibility to support agile approaches in learning is important. In the corporate world, agile thinking and action are an important part of project management, e.g. in software development. We have to facilitate learning scenarios that take up these corporate realities.

This training supports teachers to integrate agile approaches into modern classroom management.
